Trial University of the TU Dortmund during the summer vacations

The "SchnupperUni" of the TU Dortmund University traditionally takes place in the last week of the summer vacations in NRW and is an offer of the TU Dortmund University to all high school students.

During the SchnupperUni, pupils visit the TU Dortmund University for a week and get to know scientific and technical subjects in particular by attending lectures, taking part in experiments and exercises and making contact with students, lecturers and people from professional practice. Participation is free of charge, but participants must pay for their own travel and meals. The SchnupperUni takes place during the last week of the summer vacations in North Rhine-Westphalia.

Computer Science participates as one of ten departments in this week, which focuses on mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology (MINT). Intensive study counseling, information about Bafög, student housing in Dortmund and studying abroad round off the exciting week.

The program and current information can be found on the TU Dortmund website.
