Continuing education offers summer semester 2024

In addition to your studies, the Department of Computer Science offers you various opportunities to expand your skills. Participation in the following events is voluntary, free of charge and aimed at computer science students of all semesters.

Other continuing education courses (exam preparation, self-organization, scientific writing, etc.) are regularly updated here for computer science students: Moodle (self-enrollment)

 

Self-organization, time management

  • Short workshop: Well organized for exams
    • Getting the last few university assignments in on time, already studying for exams, but then there are the hobbies, friends, maybe even the part-time job - time management is often particularly important during exam periods. In this short workshop, various techniques will be tried out to help you organize yourself even better and to counteract your own misjudgements.

  • Short workshop: Stress-free in the exam phase
    • During exam periods, you often have to manage several tasks at the same time. It is helpful to keep a cool head. In this short workshop, we will explain how stress arises and try out practical techniques to prevent stress.

  • Short workshop: Which learning strategy suits me?
    • In this short workshop, helpful learning strategies for preparing for written and oral exams will be presented. It will also show you how to check and develop your own learning strategies.

Communication, didactics

  • Workshop series: Leading groups and managing group processes
    • In this event, practical examples will be used to clarify how the management of groups can be designed in a goal-oriented way in studies and work. The event offers a mix of exchange and input units. The participants decide which topics and issues are dealt with in the event.

    • Individual coaching always has a specific reason or question. These can be, for example
